American aroma variety bred in Oregon from Fuggles, named after the Willamette river and released in 1976. Medium large round cones deliver a mild but fragrant pine resin, slightly spicy and lemon citrus aroma.
Useful, less earthy substitute for Fuggles in British style Pale Ales and Bitters, also useful in Porters, Stouts and modern Lagers seeking less herbal aromas.
