Bred at Huell from Hallertau Mittelfruh, released in 1991. Medium-large variegated green cones create a herbal aroma, reminiscent of fresh Sage, with pepper-like spiciness and some grass.
Firmly Germanic style, low to medium alpha, so can be used for low-level bittering too. Ideal for brewing Pilseners, Helles Lagers, Bocks and Amber lagers. May suit Saison and modern Stouts too.
